The Korte Company recently finished the exterior portion of work on a 49,669 square foot retail facility for Whole Foods Market located at 100 S. Green Valley Parkway. Whole Foods is the world’s leading natural and organic foods supermarket, and in keeping with the Whole Food’s philosophy, most of the materials being used for the building are environmentally friendly.
The store’s design was created by The Korte Company to complement the architectural style of the other structures located within The District’s retail complex. Multi colored tilt-up panels, EIFS, and residential windows give the exterior of the building the illusion of several mid-rise condominium buildings. “These design elements were incorporated throughout, which allows The District to maintain its ‘Urban Village’ setting, according to Greg Korte, president of The Korte Company’s Las Vegas Division.
