Our safety judges considered a project’s overall safety program, OSHA recordable incident rate, lost time accident rate and total man hours on the job. Because ENR California received over 100 entries for our 2019 Best Projects competition, we divided the region into two: Northern California and Southern California, which includes Hawaii. 

This year's independent panel of safety experts included:

• Pat Callahan, Senior Vice President of Operations, Hathaway Dinwiddie

All winning project teams — as well as our Owner of the Year, Design Firm of the Year, Contractor of the Year, Specialty Contractor of the Year and Legacy Award winner — will also be celebrated at two events this fall.
