The Dover Police Dept. is building a $3-million evidence warehouse facility on Queen Street in Dover. Schematic drawings are underway, but there is no bidding schedule or contract method determined. District of Columbia

The Ashkenazy Acquisition Corp. is planning the Hechinger Mall Redevelopment – Starburst Plaza on H Street NE. The $100-million design-bid-build project could include several buildings up to 11 stories tall with as many as 3,000 multifamily units, ground floor retail and potential hotel and office components. Valor Development has proposed the LadyBird Residential Development at 4330 48th St. NW. The up to $50-million project includes two structural steel buildings four stories above ground and three stories below grade totaling 310,000 sq ft., including 176,000 sq ft of residential units, 118,000 sq ft of parking and 16,000 sq ft of retail. WinnCompanies is building the Southern Hills Community Center on 4th Street SE and 204 Livingston Terrace SE. The $6-million project is advancing in four phases and is expected to be completed in 2022. The 25,000-sq-ft project includes one two-story above grade wood-framed building. Maryland

JBK Management Co. has proposed a 137-room addition to the Park Place Hotel in Annapolis. The up to $25-million project remains under review by the owner, with advancement pending entitlement. The project would include one structural steel building four stories above grade totaling 180,000 sq ft. Pennsylvania

O’Neill Properties Group is planning the Discovery Labs at the former GlaxoSmithKline facility in King of Prussia. The $500-million design-build project will include 1.6 million sq ft of co-working space, include testing, research and development labs for the health care, life sciences and pharmaceutical industries. The campus would also include a 100-sq-ft incubator operated by the Pennsylvania Biotech Center with onsite coffee shops and restaurants, a $10-million conference center with a 275-seat auditorium and a fitness center. Walking trails and an outdoor amphitheater are also included in plans drawn by Gensler, the project’s architect. The DuBois Area School District is planning to renovate the Wasson Elementary School. The project includes building a new roof, floor reconfiguration, accessibility and code upgrades and an eight-classroom addition.
