The Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts has become one of the primary venues for local and regional theater as well as a fixture for theater education and for the promotion of the arts in the Denver community.

The theater’s renovation was conceived to provide a refreshed, code-compliant facility with improved patron accessibility in a 21st-century space. The project consisted of structural, interior, MEP, life safety and theatrical renovations and improvements to 105,000 sq ft of the operational complex. The multiphase project completely renovated the 657-seat Wolf Theatre and the 199-seat Singleton Theatre and added three new elevators, a new generator and enlarged electrical service, new air-handling units and life-safety improvements, in addition to changing the patron circulation and creating more floor area through structural modifications.
