A lighter-weight, hexagonal boom structure and crane housing combine to give service truck operators more crane with a lighter payload, the company says. The VLCTM crane control management system has a new wireless-remote, pistol-grip controller with safety alerts including handle vibrations, and an LCD screen alert and status text. Also, an alert light on the underside of the boom remains green during safe crane operation and turns yellow/red to indicate overload or other safety concerns. The crane offers boom articulation of -8 degrees to +75 degrees, and has an EZ Stow load block safety stow to a quick-release hook under the boom.
