Caterpillar presents the Cat 903D compact wheel loader with increased performance, expanded work tool capabilities and enhanced operator comfort due to:

• A 25 percent increase in lifting capacity and travel speed compared to its 903C2 predecessor, so you can do more, faster.
• The flexibility to lift light material into a hopper, or load heavy pallets or sod onto a truck, or travel from field to farm.
• An ergonomic operator's station with increased leg room, improved pedal positioning, easier entry and exiting, a suspension seat and tilt steering wheel.  
• A multi-function joystick that provides controls for directional changes, the third-function hydraulic system, differential locks and continuous hydraulic flow.
• A Tier 4 Final, Cat C2.4 engine rated at 40 net HP and a hydrostatic transmission that provides travel speeds to 12.4 MPH.
• A standard auxiliary (third-function) hydraulic system that delivers a flow of up to 14 GPM at pressures to 3,481 PSI, producing ample hydraulic horsepower to operate any number of hydraulic work tools, such as brooms, power box rakes and grapple buckets.
• Compatibility with buckets ranging in capacity from 0.8 to 1.3 cubic yards, forks, and a selection of powered and non-powered work tools.
• A universal coupler to facilitate an expanded range of work, with an optional electrically activated coupler available for switching attachments from the cab.
• A Z-bar loader linkage for aggressive bucket-digging ability and efficient control in fork applications.
• Your choice of standard- or high-lift boom arms, with the high-lift arms increasing the hinge-pin height from 10 feet and 1 inch to 10 feet and 7 inches.
• Planetary-reduction axles available with optional differential locks that can be engaged on the fly to allow the machine to respond instantly to changing ground conditions.
• Availability with either an open or enclosed cab.
• Optional creep control, throttle locks and work tool electrical harnesses due to its capability to run any number of tools.
