Kevin FarleyKevin Farley has joined HNTB’s Salt Lake City office as a senior project manager, bringing more than 30 years of infrastructure experience to the firm. Farley manages design-bid-build, construction management and general contracting as well as bus rapid transit projects. He also leads business development and marketing and supports projects for the Utah Dept. of Transportation, Utah Transit Authority and Salt Lake City International Airport.

 

The recently elected 2019-20 board of directors for the American Council of Engineering Cos. of Colorado will be led by Brad Doyle, Atkins, as president. Additional board members include Karlene Thomas, Pinyon Environmental, as vice president; Bill Green, The RMH Group, as secretary-treasurer; and Elizabeth Stolfus, Stolfus & Associates, as national director.

Jeff D’AgostaJeff D’Agosta has joined Stanley Consultants as chief legal officer. He brings more than 25 years of high-level legal and transaction experience to his new role. For the past several years, D’Agosta has served as general counsel for firms ranked among the 20 largest engineering firms in the country. 
 

 

Cynthia SteinbrecherDavis Partnership Architects has promoted Cynthia Steinbrecher and Peter Carlson to principals of the firm. Steinbrecher is an interior designer and Carlson is an architect who designs commercial, cultural and civic, urban design and planning projects.

Matt CurtisMatt Curtis has joined Swinerton as a senior project manager focusing on health care construction. Curtis is a graduate of Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in construction management.
 

 

 

Kristen CraigAnderson Hallas Architects has promoted Kristen Craig and Brandon Gossard to associate and Laurie Addo to marketing coordinator. Craig has been with the firm for nine years and has a master’s degree in architecture and a certificate in historic preservation from Tulane University. Gossard, a recently licensed architect, brings a city-planning background to support the company’s focus on community-based legacy projects. Addo joined the firm in 2016 after earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing.

 

Laura Kroeger, manager of stream services for the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District in Denver, has received the 2019 Top 10 Public Works Leader of the Year Award from the American Public Works Association. The award recognizes outstanding career service achievements in the public works profession, professional excellence and service to the community.

 

Rowland+Broughton Architecture / Urban Design / Interior Design has added three new team members to its studios. In Aspen, Jonathan Rice joins the firm as an architectural designer. In Denver, Maggie McEntee joins as marketing communications manager and Daniel Lawrence as a visual artist.

 

Tony SmithTony Smith is the new president of R&R Engineers - Surveyors Inc. He has been with the firm since 2012. Douglas Dunkin will continue to work as the company’s CEO. Dunkin began his R&R career in 1994. He became part owner in 1996 and sole owner in 2003.
