Preservation Tree Services, Dallas/Fort Worth’s premier professional tree care company, has acquired Fort Worth-based tree care company, Greenleaf Professional Tree Services.

To enable Preservation Tree Services to better serve their growing base of Fort Worth customers, they are currently expanding facilities and operations in the area. Preservation Tree had a longstanding relationship with Greenleaf Professional Tree Services (GPTS) and found them to be a perfect fit for their approach to tree care and service. By acquiring GPTS, Preservation Tree can now more quickly address the unique tree care needs in the Fort Worth area.

Preservation Tree already cares for high profile Fort Worth trees such as the John Peter Smith oak, a Heritage Tree just north of the Kimbell Art Museum; as well as many large established trees in some of Fort Worth’s most historic neighborhoods.

Previous GPTS customers, and new Fort Worth customers, will now be able to take advantage of the expanded resources and services provided by Preservation Tree. Expert tree pruning to reduce storm damage and lengthen tree life, Earth-friendly fertilization and pest control treatments, soil aeration, planting services, and specialized tree protection are just a few key services Preservation Tree is known for.

In addition to the company acquisition, Preservation Tree has retained previous GPTS Certified Arborist, Bob Shea, to continue working with existing and new Forth Worth customers. In the Fort Worth office, Bob will join Chief Arborist, Billy Cook, an original founder of GPTS, now with Preservation Tree. Certified Arborist Getth Nelson also joins the Fort Worth office. Expect this to be a stellar team to care for and preserve Fort Worth trees.

Preservation Tree Services looks forward to a growing relationship with the Fort Worth community.
