Salad Dressing Maker Investing $12M In West Michigan

Litehouse, Inc. will create 77 new jobs with an expansion of its manufacturing plant in the City of Lowell, MI.

Litehouse, Inc. will invest $12.1 million and add 77 new jobs at its Lowell, MI facility. The Idaho-based refrigerated salad dressing manufacturer recently completed a 25,000-square-foot expansion. This latest investment will bring in additional operations capabilities to help the company keep up with increased growth and demand across all its business channels. The 100 percent employee-owned company currently employs more than 340 people in Lowell and more than 1,000 worldwide.

The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) is supporting the expansion effort with the approval of a $462,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant.

The Right Place worked with the company in collaboration with the MEDC to assist the company’s local growth versus possibilities at the company’s other manufacturing locations in Idaho and Utah.
