Missouri Landscaper Teams with Solar Panel Installer

Green Tech Lawn Care has partnered with a local solar panel installer, Brighter Side Energy, to provide customers with a greener approach to their lawn care.

As originally reported by the Digital Journal, one lawn care company in Springfield, MO, Green Tech Lawn Care, has partnered with a local solar panel installer, Brighter Side Energy, to provide customers with a greener approach to their lawn care.

"We decided to collaborate with Brighter Side in an effort to utilize the power of the sun in our operations. It just made sense to go the extra mile to really help keep our community, not to mention our customers, healthy and happy,” says John Krygiel of Green Tech.

The collaboration has been in the making for quite some time and is now underway as Green Tech vehicles are now fitted with solar panels that allow them to capture and store energy from the sun for use with landscaping equipment.

Green Tech takes sustainability seriously and has been using chemical-free fertilizers, which are safe for families and pets, for a number of years. The company has taken many steps to help protect the environment and offer customers a more environmentally friendly approach to their lawn care needs.

"Greener lawn care is something that should have been done decades ago," says a spokesperson for Brighter Side Energy. "Everyone is adding solar panels to their homes, and there are smart cars everywhere. Why not solar-powered lawn care equipment?"

The solar panels help to power mowers and other equipment, which helps to cut down on the amount of gasoline and other fuels that are used for lawn maintenance. The panels attach to the company's vehicles and capture energy from the sun. That energy is stored and then those solar-powered batteries are plugged into landscaping equipment. Instead of using fuel or electrical power, the lawn care equipment uses power from the sun, much like solar-powered houses.
