HNTB has made several appointments. Krista Putrino was promoted to sales manager and associate vice president; she was previously its Northeast division marketing manager. Michael Trabold has joined the company as senior project manager and vice president in New York City; he was a project manager at AECOM. Paresh Patel was hired as project director and associate vice president in the firm’s New York City-based transit-rail practice; he had been program manager at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. William Birch also has joined as senior project manager and associate vice president, leading the firm’s work for the New Jersey Dept. of Transportation. He was previously the agency’s executive regional manager.

Skanska USA has promoted two employees to new communications lead roles. Pamela Monastra now is senior vice president and head of communications for the contractor’s building construction operation; she had been head of internal communications. Michael Iacovella now is vice president and head of communications for its civil construction operation after having served as senior director of communications.

McLaren Engineering Group has made two new hires. Dawson Bloom is civil technical director; he was civil engineering department manager at Bertin Engineering Associates. Michelle Piechowski is senior vice president of human resources; she was vice president of global human resources for The Topps Co.

Tina Millán is elevated to national market leader for aviation at New York City-based WSP USA; she had been a senior vice president. Michael Mondshine has been elevated to senior vice president and director of sustainability, energy and climate change services; he had been a vice president of sustainability and energy. Bernard P. McNeilly was named lead of program management and construction management in a new 1,200-person corporate unit that will work across all markets.

E4H for Health Architecture has made two new hires in its New York City office. Alina Shapiro joins as an associate partner; she was a senior project manager at EYP. Janet Corzo is a senior lab planner; she had the same title at AECOM.

Crystal V. Venning has joined New York City-based construction law firm Peckar & Abramson as an associate; she had been an assistant council at the Atlanta Housing Authority and assistant corporation counsel in commercial and real estate litigation for the New York City Law Dept.

Michael Burdalski was elected president of the Mid-Atlantic chapter of the Construction Management Association of America. He is senior vice president of JINGOLI’s construction management division.
 

Dina Silberstein has established an owner’s representation and real estate project management firm, DJS Consulting NYC. She was previously assistant director of construction at Brookfield Property Partners.
 

Thornton Tomasetti has hired Daniel Stauthamer as chief human resources officer. He had been a divisional HR leader at Jacobs.

Structure Tone has promoted two executives in its New York City headquarters. Terrence Robbins is now senior vice president and chief information officer after having served as vice president of information technology. William Sharp is senior vice president of risk management.

LeChase Construction promoted Kyle Sayers, executive vice president, to the added chief operating officer role.

Stephanie Pennington has joined the contractor as XBE compliance manager to expand its outreach to small and diverse subcontractors and suppliers located in the Northeast.

Alan Zhao has joined consulting firm Dewberry’s New York City office as senior project manager. He had been a senior supervising engineer at WSP USA.

Rachel Schreiber has been appointed executive dean of The New School’s Parsons School of Design, effective in July. She has been provost and senior vice president of the San Francisco Art Institute.

The Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey has promoted Carol Fulton to the newly created position of diversity and compliance director, from  a previous role as membership development director.

Dattner Architects has promoted several employees. David Levine and Mia Lee now are senior associates. Jen Switala, Adam Siegel, John Seward, Philippe Martelly and Mary Beth Lardaro are elevated to associates.

The Carlton Group has made two executive promotions. Michael J. Campbell, who joined the company in 1999, is now CEO. Daniel I. Bildner, Carlton’s general counsel, now also is the firm’s chief operating officer.

Justin Wright has been named an account administrator in RT Specialty’s national environmental and construction professional liability practice. He was previously an underwriting analyst and test rater employed by Munich Reinsurance America.
