Kevin Adams joined Burns & McDonnell in Atlanta to lead the firm’s natural gas pipeline, construction and design-build projects in the Southeast. He has two decades of experience leading engineering, estimating and construction services for some of the region’s largest natural gas pipeline projects.

JE Dunn Construction has hired industry veteran Marty Laskey as director of safety for its East region. In this role, he will implement safety programs and methods and lead safety training activities for the contractor’s offices in Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Savannah and Tampa.

The company also named Molly Hermreck vice president and director of finance for the East region. In this role, she will manage financial control functions and oversee financial strategy for the region’s operations group. A 12-year industry veteran, Hermreck previously served as assistant controller.

In addition, Jillian Levy Nahum has joined the company as a talent acquisition manager for the East region.

Jim Heydorn has joined Freese and Nichols Inc., Atlanta, as discipline leader for water/wastewater treatment projects across the Southeast. Heydorn, who has more than 20 years of treatment and program management experience, will lead projects in Georgia and Florida and will share his expertise with teams that the firm serves in the Southeast. He recently served as program manager for the DeKalb County Consent Decree Program Management Services contract.
