Nevada CN Hotel Holdings LLC, a venture capital investment firm, plans to restore the Cal Neva Resort in Crystal Bay. Some of the smaller buildings have been demolished. Plans call for renovating the 10-story hotel tower, built in 1969, and constructing a two-story building at its base for restaurants, a casino, a conference center and a spa. Maryland 7/15 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking bidders to carry out Phase 3 of the Taxiway Whiskey repair project at Joint Base Andrews. The contractor will be required to prepare at least two or potentially more concrete mix designs to identify different sources of fly ash for use, in order to ensure sufficient quantities are present to complete the project. The RFP for the construction contract will require detailed proposals for handling the approval requirements of the concrete mix design. Structures penetrating paver-compacted concrete pavements are typically isolated by the use of expansion joint materials. Removal of unsuitable soil will be necessary in significant quantities.
