Florida Florida Land Management Inc. is planning to build the Parrish Lakes residential development on a 1,150-acre site at the intersection of  Moccasin Wallow and Erie Roads in Parrish. The development will include 3,300 residential units, 400,000 sq ft of retail space and 50,000 sq ft of office space. It will be constructed in two phases. Phase one, due for completion in 2026, will create 900 single-family residential units, 600 multifamily units and 250,000 sq ft of commercial or retail space. Planned for phase two, due for completion in 2036, are 1,300 single-family residential units, 500 multifamily residential units, 150,000 sq ft of retail space and 50,000 sq ft of office space. Minnesota Dominium Development & Acquisition Inc. is planning to convert the barracks at Fort Snelling’s Upper Post into 176 units of affordable housing. The 26 buildings were erected between the 1880s and 1939. Fort Snelling was a U.S. Army post from 1819 to 1946 and was then transferred to the Veterans Administration. Oregon The Bend-La Pine Public Schools is planning to construct the new Bend-La Pine High School at the corner of SE 15th Street and Knott Road in Bend. Virginia Chirisa Capital Management Inc. is planning to build the Chirisa Data Center in Ashburn. The 30 MW Tier III facility will be 280,000 sq ft. The project is valued at $225 million. Colorado Garney Construction has begun construction of the Southern Water Supply Project II, a raw water pipeline project that will supply Colorado-Big Thompson Project and Windy Gap Project water from Carter Lake to the City of Boulder, Left Hand Water District, Town of Berthoud and Longs Peak Water District. The pipeline will traverse from Carter Lake Reservoir south to the City of Boulder’s Boulder Reservoir water treatment plant, a distance of 20 miles. The first 12 miles will parallel the existing SWSP pipeline from Carter Lake Reservoir to Saint Vrain Road near the Longmont Municipal Airport. Illinois Meridian Design Build has started building a 124,575-sq-ft speculative multi-tenant industrial building for Molto Properties at 2379 Davey Rd. in Woodridge. Ohio 8/21 The City of Dayton is requesting proposals from consulting engineering firms interested in designing a system to supply a redundant supply of water to Montgomery County. The intent of this project is to design and construct the infrastructure necessary in the city’s system to provide a redundant supply of water to the DM-1 and DM-5 pump stations such that a major break within the city’s system shall maintain the supply to the greater Moraine area of the county system. Texas 9/1 The Sabine River Authority is seeking bidders to carry out the Toledo Bend Spillway repair. It will entail digging out the basin where the rip-rap will be replaced, laying down a filter cloth and a 2-ft-thick layer of bedrock with larger rocks that have a diameter of about 58 in. In addition, the project will involve repairs to a concrete apron below the floodgates and refurbishing two 20-in.-dia pipes. The repairs are needed because of damage done to the flood gates by torrential rains  in March 2016, the largest ever to pass through the lake’s floodgates.
