Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) achieved a Guinness World Records title for the world’s first 3D-printed commercial building in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

According to the Guinness World Records, the building measured 20 feet high, 120 feet long, and 40 feet wide. The building took 17 days to print and three months to build and adjust the interior design. Today, the office is home to DFF's Dubai Future Academy.

According to Golf News, the building required 50 percent less manpower to complete when compared to traditional methods of building, according to the report. The printing also produced 60 percent less construction waste.

Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of DFF, says the office has contributed to enhancing the awareness of the importance of 3D printing technology, which is seen as a promising sector that provides billions of dollars in investment opportunities.
