BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Brasfield & Gorrie announced that the company has earned recognition from two national organizations.

The National Association of Women in Construction recognized Brasfield & Gorrie for its safety program and excellent record of workplace safety. “Safety is our top corporate value,” said Project Manager Virnetta Greene-Woodbury, who accepted the award this summer at the organization's 2013 Safety Excellence Awards ceremony in Bellevue, Wash.

It was presented the   NAMC 2013 Hard Hat Awards Banquet in Atlanta, Ga.

“These awards underscore Brasfield & Gorrie's commitment to two of our core values: people and safety,” said Brasfield & Gorrie CEO Jeff Stone. “We are honored that these two organizations, whose missions support diversity and inclusion, consider our efforts worthy of recognition.”
