Ruppert Landscape has acquired select assets from Craven Creek Landscape Associates, a Raleigh, NC-based company which provides commercial grounds management services. The transaction includes the purchase of selected commercial landscape management contracts, trucks, equipment and the hiring of several employees. The commercial clients are primarily based in Wake, Durham and Nash Counties.
“Craven Creek has built a reputation as a service-oriented company with customers who have been with them for many years,” said vice president Fred Key. “Their current book of business meshes well with the areas in which we have chosen to focus, and their customers included many that are in close proximity to our new permanent location in Garner, NC.
“Our intention in the Raleigh market is to use this acquisition as a building block upon which we can continue to grow more traditionally, keeping with our company’s roots of being a family-owned, regional business that is focused on keeping our customers happy and developing long-term relationships,” Key added. “We are pleased and proud to have this opportunity to join forces with this group in Raleigh and we are looking forward to learning from our partnership with them.”
Craven Creek has been doing business in the Raleigh metropolitan area for over 18 years and Ruppert Landscape has been serving customers from its branches in Charlotte and Raleigh, NC, since 2009 and employs just over 100 people at those two locations.
Ruppert Landscape, an employee/family owned business, provides commercial landscape construction and management in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina from 15 branch offices and has a long-standing tradition of giving back to the community.
