After a recent boom, Raleigh’s construction market seems to have “stabilized,” says Glasgow. However, the possibility of a decline is a growing concern. “Owners have become a little apprehensive of rising interest rates, tariffs and a rising economy that may be at the tail end of its cycle,” he says. Still, Raleigh’s ability to attract technology firms may create another upswing. “If these companies make the move to the Triangle, additional opportunities should result from supporting industries,” Glasgow says.
