The new facility, which began production this month, will house Blue Marble Cocktails and Spirits’ office space, show room, and its mixing and production warehouse. With the company’s growth in Indiana, Blue Marble Cocktails and Spirits will be able to produce nearly three million cases of its all-natural, ultra-premium, ready-to-drink cocktails and spirits. The company plans to build a brand new production site in the future, and has already begun its search for a permanent location in central Indiana.

“As a native-born Hoosier, I have a passion and love for all things Indiana,” said Alan Miller, chief executive officer and founder of Blue Marble Cocktails and Spirits. “I can’t wait to witness Blue Marble Cocktails and Spirits’ success in a state that offers talented people whom we are excited to grow our company with. I’m confident this is just the start of our growth, and look forward to witnessing people across the nation enjoying an all-natural, Hoosier-made cocktail or spirit.”

The company provides cocktails and spirits to airlines, cruise lines, hotels, casinos and event venues. Blue Marble Cocktails and Spirits supports global conservation and environmental initiatives through its “We Care” program and uses recyclable cans for its products. In 2017, the company received honors from the American Master of Taste, Los Angeles International Spirits Competition, SIP Awards, New York International Spirits Competition and the International Wine and Spirits Competition.

“Indiana’s pro-growth business climate continues to be recognized from coast to coast as companies like Blue Marble Cocktails and Spirits choose our state for growth,” said Jim Schellinger, Indiana Secretary of Commerce. “Our skilled workforce, central location and competitive economic environment create a winning solution for small and large businesses looking to grow. We extend a sincere Hoosier welcome as Blue Marble Cocktails and Spirits moves from Oregon to Indiana – the best state in the Midwest and fifth in the nation for doing business.”

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation has offered Blue Marble up to $765,000 in conditional tax credits based on the company’s job creation and investment plans. The incentives are performance based, so until employees are hired, the company is not eligible to claim them. The city of Indianapolis supports the project at the request of Develop Indy, a business unit of the Indy Chamber.

“Manufacturing continues to evolve and grow in Indianapolis and we welcome Blue Marble Cocktails and Spirits to our city with an economic ecosystem ready to support their future success,” said Mayor Joe Hogsett. “Indianapolis’ 21st- century workforce and culture of innovation will work hand in hand with Blue Marble Cocktails and Spirits’ business enterprise and we look forward to having this company as a community partner for years to come.”
