Surface Dynamics Investing Nearly $10M In Tennessee Expansion

The company, which provides additive manufacturing technologies for biomedical manufacturers, will create 110 jobs over the next five years with the expansion of its Bartlett, TN operations.

Surface Dynamics LLC will invest nearly $10 million and create approximately 110 jobs in in West Tennessee over the next five years. The Bartlett, TN-based company is part of the medical division of UnitedCoatings Group, a worldwide leader in providing coatings, 3D printing, and solutions to orthopedic original equipment manufacturers.Surface Dynamics

 As part of its expansion in Bartlett, Surface Dynamics plans to hire office, engineering and production jobs.

Since 2015, TNECD has supported 69 economic development projects in Shelby County, totaling 10,800 job commitments and approximately $3.4 billion in private capital investment.
