Accenture Federal Services Adding 500 New Jobs In Texas

The company will invest $5 million in an expansion of its Advanced Technology Center in San Antonio, TX.

Accenture Federal Services plans to expand its San Antonio, TX operations and add 500 new jobs in the community over the next four years. The planned expansion will increase the company’s robust Advanced Technology Center operations in San Antonio, pending local incentive approvals. The company currently employs over 1,300 people at its two primary locations in San Antonio and plans to invest $5 million over the next four years as part of the expansion.

Accenture Federal Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Accenture LLP with key U.S. offices in Arlington, VA and San Antonio. Accenture’s federal business has served every cabinet-level department and 30 of the largest federal organizations serving defense, intelligence, public safety, civilian and military health organizations.

On March 7, the San Antonio City Council will vote on an incentive package to support Accenture Federal Service’s planned San Antonio expansion.

“Accenture Federal Services’ selection of San Antonio for the expansion of its operations and continued investment demonstrates the city’s ability to meet the needs of a world-class company,” said San Antonio City Manager Sheryl Sculley. “Their decision to create new, high-wage jobs in a targeted industry is a testament to the city’s strong and growing workforce.”

Bexar County is also considering an incentives package to assist the company’s growth to be reviewed by Commissioners Court on March 12.
