Genie Develops New Telematics Platform

March 19, 2019

Genie now offers Lift Connect telematics on all new scissors, boom, and telehandlers including a three-year subscription. Telematics hardware for Genie GR and QS vertical masts, TZ trailer-mounted booms, as well as for Terex and Genie branded light towers, can be purchased as an option. The subscription also includes access to the Genie Lift Connect Portal.

Lift Connect provides information including:

  • Access to dashboards and reporting to identify where work should begin

  • Views of the entire fleet

  • Ability to create filters when viewing information, such as alerts or maintenance information

  • Ability to export to Excel, if needed

  • Set geo-zones and related alerts to track usage

Fleet managers can use Genie Lift Connect to see which machines have alerts, view all assets on the map, and leverage fleet reporting and analytics. Service managers can also remotely diagnose equipment, and identify parts required to complete service.

For users with an existing fleet-management system, an API allows Lift Connect to  transmit data.
