MENOMONEE FALLS, WI — As part of its 95th anniversary celebration, Bradley Corp., designer and manufacturer of commercial washroom and emergency safety products, hosted a learning tour of its manufacturing plant with Wisconsin-area high school students enrolled in the new Design Engineering Manufacturing (DEM) Center.

The DEM Center, part of Hartland, Wis.-based Arrowhead Union High School, is a unique public-private partnership and educational-jobs initiative, which exposes students to real-world modern-day manufacturing and engineering processes. As one of the partners and supporters of the DEM Center, Bryan Mullett, Bradley’s incoming chief executive officer, shared with students highlights of Bradley’s product history, while machinists and engineers demonstrated key equipment and technology housed in its Menomonee Falls-based manufacturing plant.

“Bradley’s way of celebrating our company’s rich heritage is by reaching out into the community and saluting these bright students, which represent the next generation of design, engineering and manufacturing professionals,” Mullett said. “This educational model provides students hands-on experiences in innovation, problem solving and using cutting edge materials and machinery. We’re excited for them to experience those elements up-close within Bradley’s manufacturing facility.”

Bryan Mullett represents the fifth generation of Mullett family ownership and leadership of Bradley, and is one of the founders of the DEM Center initiative, which is anticipated to serve as a catalyst for attracting, motivating and educating skilled employees who can begin to fill the manufacturing skills gap in Wisconsin.

For 95 years, Bradley Corporation has designed and manufactured commercial washroom and emergency safety products, and today is the industry's leading source for commercial plumbing fixtures, washroom accessories, restroom partitions, solid plastic lockers, and emergency safety fixtures and industrial grade electric tankless heaters. Headquartered in Menomonee Falls, Wis., Bradley serves the commercial, industrial, health care, retail, and education markets worldwide. For more information visit www.bradleycorp.com.
