Prestige Pipelaying JV Ltd has landed its largest ever contract with Cadent Gas to deliver connections across the East of England.

The tender was originally put out to be awarded to multiple companies but Cadent has decided to go with Prestige as the sole supplier across the region in a deal which rival bidders said is worth £25m+.

Prestige is looking to boost its current workforce of 180 to at least 250 following the win.

Work will start by the end of this month on the four-year contract which has the potential to be extended to eight years.

Prestige Head of Operations Kane Richardson said:  “I am immensely proud of the exceptional work that our workforce has consistently demonstrated in the years leading to this award.

“It is the commitment, expertise, and unwavering dedication from everyone at Prestige Pipelaying JV Ltd that has earned us the trust and confidence of Cadent Gas and this contract is a testament to the outstanding reputation we have built in the industry.

“This award brings not only pride but also growth and stability. With a long-term contract in place, we can create lasting careers for our staff and our workforce. PPL is fully committed and equipped to make a positive impact on the delivery of Standard and Non-standard Connections in East Anglia.

“We are confident in our ability to provide an excellent service that will bring added value and satisfaction to all stakeholders. Our goal is to build strong lasting relationships with the client, based on trust and understanding; while delivering operational excellence and customer satisfaction at the highest levels”.
