HS2 contracts come under tighter government scrutiny

Cost plus contracts are expected to come under a harsh spotlight in a review of HS2’s soaring costs to be carried out by cost consultants Gardiner & Theobald (G&T). Meanwhile, HS2 contract awards and changes will come under increased government scrutiny, according to rail and HS2 minister Huw Merriman.
