Cancer centers' 'one-stop shop'

In early 2019, the three-story, 80,000-sf SECU Comprehensive Cancer Center is scheduled to open on the campus of CarolinaEast Medical Center, in New Bern, N.C. The $35 million SECU cancer center—so named for a $3.5 million donation to the project from the North Carolina State Employees Credit Union—will provide radiation oncology, medical oncology, nutrition services, a specialty pharmacy, social worker and psychological services, and a palliative and survivorship program.
