Oklahoma Reverses Worker's Comp Rule on Oil Firms

New Kentucky Aluminum Plant

Novelis Inc, has announced it plans to build a $300 million plant to produce flat-rolled aluminum products such as those used by auto makers who are designing in lighter weight materials to meet fuel efficiency requirements. The facility's capabilities will include heat treatment and pre-treatment lines, which prepare aluminum for use in vehicle parts such as body-in-white, hoods, doors, lift gates and fenders, said a company news release.
