Recall: Ram Trucks Recalled for Fire Risk

Fiat Chrysler announced Tuesday it is recalling 494,000 Ram heavy-duty pickups and medium-duty trucks to inspect and replace, if necessary, their water pumps. The models involved are: Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups and Ram 3500, 4500 and 5500 chassis cabs from the 2013 to 2017 model years. All 494,417 of the vehicles involved have 6.7-liter engines. Fiat Chrysler said the affected models have a water pump bearing that can overheat and cause a fire under the hood.
