+/- offset(s) for families

So have you ever wanted to give users the ability to offset and object either plus or minus a certain distance from a constant reference point. Like maybe you have a custom curtain panel family that you want the user to be able to plug in 1' 0" to offset the panel forward one foot from the curtain wall centerline, or you want them to be able to put -6" into the same field and have the panel move backwards 6" away from the centerline.

Beltway Corporate Center Completed

The Korte Company

The Korte Company has completed work on the Beltway Corporate Center II for the owner E&P, LLC at 8965 Eastern Avenue. The contract, valued at $5 million, was for the construction of a three story building shell of approximately 58,000 square feet. It was the second of two mirrored buildings designed by KKE Architects and completes the construction of the mix-use development.

Recover All

You may have noticed that AutoCAD 2008 came with a great function to recover a drawing file and also recover any files that it referenced. It is found under the FileDrawing Utilities menu. This tool will recover a drawing and all of it's Xrefs then provide you with a report! It maintains the original file's format, Saves the original as a *.BAK, and updates custom objects if an object enabler is present.

Now let's turn our attention to something everyone seems to be talking about, yet I honestly don't see any in action. If you are using BIM, let us know. Just to Clarify, BIM is not Revit.
