'Hello Contractor Marketing Friends, “I’m not getting the leads,” says one contractor. “I’ve got too many leads,” says another. Both are right, both are wrong. Not getting leads sounds like the bigger problem, so we’ll attack it first. Autodesk has contacted me to help find Revit models of buildings in Philadelphia that firms would be willing to contribute for research under NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) conditions. This means that Autodesk would use the files internally, but that model data would not be released for public consumption. Specifically I've been contacted by Chris Andrews who is a project manager for the PSEB Geospatial Group.

Sometimes it's the little things which make all the difference. I thought I would share some nifty tricks that can help make Revit MEP go down a little easier. Use the space bar to inherit duct and pipe sizes from objects you have connected to instead of uses the last used size. Hit the space bar again to cycle back to the last used size. Tap the space bar to rotate Light fixtures 90 degrees before you insert them.
