FAA Task Force on Drones No Closer to Solution

The joint task force assembled by the FAA and USDOT is no closer to deciding what types of drones to include in new registration rules, according to a report by ComputerWorld.com. The proposed rules for drone registration are due Nov. 20. Other issues were discussed in the three-day meeting last week, the report says, including some specifics on how registration would work as well as processes by which operators could become aware of safety issues.
