Strengthen Your Web Presence

Construction Business Owner

The construction industry is changing quickly. In the past, a construction firm’s success was based largely on two pillars: quality projects completed on time and budget, and personal relationships with clients. While both of those are still important factors in guaranteeing good reputations and long-term success, the Internet has brought other factors into play that have a direct bearing on the overall success of today’s construction firms.

Is Your Commercial General Contractor More Relevant Than You?

HardHatChat

Would-be whistleblowers may find it easier to get OSHA probe

FDR Safety

Employees who want to pursue whistleblower-retaliation claims against employers may find it easier to do so under a new policy directive issued by OSHA. The directive, reported by the news site iwpnews.com, lowers the legal bar for OSHA to initiate an investigation of a complaint. Employees now need only show that there is a “reasonable cause” to start a probe, as opposed to the previous standard of a “preponderance of evidence.”.
