Watch Crews Rotate Bertha’s Cutterhead

Seattle Tunnel Partners (STP) completed the first sustained rotation of Bertha’s cutterhead February when the machine broke through the southern wall of the Alaskan Way Viaduct project. . STP said they will rotate the cutterhead in both directions for about one hour at a time. . Worker Killed at Construction Site

A construction worker died when he fell eleven feet from a box sitting on a fork of a tractor at Missouri job site, reports KY3. The worker fell out of a three-sided box that was sitting on the forks of a tractor. The employee fell out of the box approximately 11 feet and the box then fell, striking him on the head. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital and pronounced dead later that same day.

Donaldson Q1 Sales Drop Nearly 10%
