Honolulu police are searching for more than $100,000 worth of equipment stolen from the site of the new Mauka terminal at the city’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.

According to a police statement, thieves entered the 40-acre site’s enclosed perimeter at approximately 11 pm on Friday, Dec. 20, and made off with the equipment over the weekend. Among the property reported stolen are a 2019 Kawasaki Mule 4010 4x4 vehicle, two Lincoln Electric Ranger welders and accessories, concrete hammers and chippers, multiple generators and hand tools and laser level devices.

Hensel Phelps is general contractor for the $220 million Mauka project, but police did not identify who owns the equipment or provide other details regarding the theft.
