Date given for delayed rules on biodiversity net gain to be introduced

New government rules for biodiversity net gain (BNG) will come into force on 12 February 2024, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has confirmed. An extension has been granted until 2 April for small sites.
