A Mashpee, Massachusetts landscaping company that employs more than 100 people was purchased by a Maine-based investment firm.
Maffei Landscape Contractors was sold to Chenmark Capital Management LLC. Robert Maffei, who started the company while a student at Barnstable High School in 1991, will remain CEO.
Maffei says the sale will allow the company to continue to grow, offer more innovative services and create more jobs.
“Over the years, I have continually sought ways to grow the business and insert the right capital to get to the next level,” Maffei said. “Chenmark Capital Management will help us do that.”
