We import (not link) the DWG into a Drafting View. If the "Link (instead of import)" option was checked when you imported the DWG youll have to go to File.

I would advise against adding more than the (2) default worksets unless the project file is just too slow and youre willing to spend half your time managing objects and the worksets they reside on. nemetschek AllPlan. nemetschek Vectorworks.
