NAHB’s recently released publication, The Cost of Doing Business Study, 2022 Edition, allows builders to check on the health of their business operations compared to industry standards both in regional markets and on a national scale, NAHBNow reports. The study uses industry-wide averages of indicators like gross margins, net profit, cost of sales, operating expenses, and financial ratios to analyze business performance according to builder type and size. All NAHB members receive a discount at BuilderBooks.com.
