Quality is paramount About U.S. Construction. From excellent service in the fields of architecture, to reliable methods of civil engineering . Large Scale Construction requires extensive human multitasking. The construction is managed by a project manager, and supervised by a construction manager, design engineer, construction engineer or a project architect
Three general types of construction:
- Building construction
- Heavy / civil construction
- Industrial construction
Each type of construction project requires a unique team to plan, design, construct and maintain the project.
Building Construction:
Building construction is the process of adding structure to real property. The vast majority of building construction projects are small renovations, such as addition of a room, or renovation of a bathroom. Often, the owner of the property acts as laborer, paymaster, and design team for the entire project.
Civil Construction:
Heavy Construction or Civil Construction engineering involves planning and execution of the designs from transportation, site development, hydraulic, environmental, structural and geotechnical engineers.
Industrial construction
Industrial construction, though a relatively small part of the entire construction industry, is a very important component. Owners of these projects are usually large, for-profit, industrial corporations. These corporations can be found in such industries as Infrastructure, Power Transmission & Distribution, metallurgical and material handling, medicine, petroleum, chemical, power generation, manufacturing etc.

Beginning on the journey of home improvements can indeed be a daunting task. Finding the right contractor who is qualified and who you are comfortable with is vital. I would recommend, before beginning any aesthetic improvements, to focus on the infrastructure of the home. Is your home air-tight? Have you had an energy audit performed? These are questions you need to ask yourself.
