Alabama The Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center Authority is planning to renovate Legacy Arena in Birmingham. The project will entail a south-side expansion to the arena; a renovated plaza; a new lobby, including a grand stair and escalators to the main concourse and to the new upper seating bowl; and extensive renovation to the arena seating bowl, including replacement of all existing seats, the addition of new premium suites, club seating and a new upper concourse on the south end of the building. Missouri Worcester Investments is planning to convert 720 Main St., a ten-story office building in Kansas City, into Flashcube Apartments. Michigan And Wisconsin  Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC, has started upgrading two ferry terminals on Lake Michigan, in Ludington, Mich., and Manitowoc, Wis. New Jersey The Naval Facilities Engineering Command has awarded a $17.9-million firm-fixed-price contract to Triton Marine Construction Corp. for the repair of trestle box beams at Naval Weapons Station Earle in Colts Neck. The work involves concrete spall repairs on the underside of Trestle 1A to the pile caps, beams and deck; carbon fiber reinforced polymer strengthening of existing reinforced concrete box beams using the wet layup process; and installation of five new pile bents. Ten new piles will be driven on Trestle 1A to strengthen the existing box beams. The project is expected to be completed by March, 2024.
