Rotary Hammer: Cordless Tool Brings Power

The Hilti TE 6-A22 cordless rotary hammer is able to deliver 1.8 ft-lb of impact energy and a no-load rpm of 1,050 rpm. The tool runs on Hilti’s 22-V lithium-ion battery platform, and at 8.3 lb is designed to be light enough for overhead work. It has an optimum drilling and hammer drilling depth of 1⁄4 in. to 5⁄8 in. in concrete, and it can also be used for corrective chiseling in masonry and brick. Wheel Loader: Tier 4 Final Engine

The Deere 944K hybrid wheel loader is now available with an engine that meets Tier 4 Final emissions standards. The 536-hp, 13.5-liter Deere PS5 engine has 9% to 14% lower fuel consumption than the earlier Interim Tier 4 engine, according to the manufacturer. Other improvements include greater control over braking and deceleration and lower overall noise levels. Cordless Stapler: Built-In Cable Guide

The DEWALT 20V MAX cordless stapler features a built-in cable guide to properly drive staples over cable without damaging it. The lightweight tool is only 12 in. tall and 3 in. wide, making it ideal for reaching into hard-to-access areas. A center-mounted LED illuminates the work surface for use in low-light environments. Concrete Repair: Secure Cracks in Slabs

The Rhino Concrete Crack Lock is an engineered repair kit for cracks in concrete slabs. Installation requires a single saw cut with two drilled holes at the ends, where the carbon-fiber Crack Lock is secured in place. The area around the carbon-fiber rod is then filled in with high-strength epoxy paste. Larger cracks in concrete slabs can be repaired with Crack Locks installed every 8 in., with crisscrossed Crack Locks on every other installation.
