Gates introduces nine new BladeRunner belts designed for specific lawn and garden applications (including commercial-grade lawnmowers), providing exact OEM fit, construction and performance.
The belts' heavy-duty cord-pack with dual layer outer fabric wrap is designed to withstand the rigorous start/stop operation of outdoor power equipment. "These belts feature a thicker Aramid tensile member (Aramid is Kevlar cord) for shock load resistance and better tension and re-tension characteristics," says Jason Davis, a Gates product manager. "The belt is wrapped in two layers of fiber wrap vs. the typical single layer for increased durability."
