In honor of Men’s Health Month, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is announcing a pilot partnership with Manual Care, a men’s health and wellness company that provides self-paced mental health resources tailored for young men. Manual Care provides 24/7, anonymous, one-on-one chats with bilingual health experts, as well as livestreams on financial planning, and more.
The programming will be available through Manual's digital platform and social media channels, and members of NAHB’s Young Professionals Committee, as well as members of state and local Home Builders Associations and Building Industry Association Young Professionals Committees can sign up for Manual at no cost, NAHB reports.
“Unfortunately, men are often times resistant to seeking help for their struggles. Rather than forcing them into systems that don't work for them, we need to re-imagine how we support men dealing with mental health and addiction issues,” said Matthew Stefanko, CEO of MANUAL. “NAHB and its Young Professionals Committee understands that, which is why this collaboration between MANUAL and NAHB will be so fruitful for their members. They are deeply committed to their members' well-being, and we are ecstatic to support them on this journey."
