ABC of the Carolinas Honors Brasfield & Gorrie for Excellence in Construction

RALEIGH, N.C. — Brasfield & Gorrie announced that it is recipient of honors from the Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas. During an awards ceremony this week, Brasfield & Gorrie received three first-place Eagle Awards, the Carolinas Green Award, the Free Enterprise Award and the prestigious Project of the Year award.

“This honor really belongs to our project teams, subcontractors, clients and business partners for their significant contributions to these outstanding projects,” said Brasfield & Gorrie Regional Vice President and Division Manager Scott Duckworth.

The three projects recognized by ABC of the Carolinas with first-place Eagle awards are Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital North Tower, Greensboro, N.C.; Carolinas HealthCare System Morehead Parking Deck Vertical Expansion, Charlotte, N.C. and Mission Health State Employees Credit Union Cancer Center, Asheville, N.C.

In addition to receiving the Eagle award, the Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital North Tower was awarded the prestigious Project of the Year award, which recognizes the project that best exemplifies the contributions of quality construction in the Carolinas. This project also received the Carolinas Green Award for environmentally friendly building techniques.

Brasfield & Gorrie also earned the Free Enterprise Award, which recognizes the general contractor that used the most ABC members on its projects.
