Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity recently announced “Hacienda Build,” a joint building project with members of the Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association, which was initiated at the end of March, the Albuquerque Journal reports. The project aims to build two affordable homes for low-income families with the help of a number of local organizations and businesses.
The houses will have three bedrooms and two baths, all electric appliances, and will be made out of adobe and feature solar for a zero net rating.
