The BG920 concrete riding trowel is powered by a Kubota diesel engine and features a heavy-duty gearbox for longer service intervals. Fully hydraulic steering provides finer handling control and has five blades per rotor. It also features an electrically powered water-spray system with and independent manual pitch control. Fontaine Trailers has introduced three new low-deck-height models designed for easier loading. The trailers come in a 48-ft spread axle, a 53-ft rear-axle slide and a 53-ft rear-axle slide with twist locks. All three have 36-ft loaded deck heights and comprise steel main beams and steel cross-bracing with aluminum side rails. The main beams are built with grade-130 flanges that are welded on both sides. The GSL 2 Surface Laser is designed to continuously check floor levels and flatness. It has a working range of up to 30 ft or 60 ft with a target plate, allowing workers to inspect a large area for uneven spots without moving the tool. The surface laser has an accuracy of 1/8 in. at 30 ft and self-levels in five seconds with a leveling range of within four degrees.
