On the most recent installment of HorizonTV, Building Performance Specialist Graham Davis explains the value of maintaining construction quality standards especially during a booming housing market.
Davis advises not to let your construction quality suffer as a result of current industry challenges. It’s a hard lesson he watched many builders learn during the Great Recession. At the time, home builders put off reevaluating their construction quality, only to wait for warranty callbacks. But when the cash flow stopped, the warranties did not.
"We don't know what is going to come after this," says Davis. "It's unprecedented. We don't know what the next couple of years are going to present to us."
