American Society of Concrete Contractors Holds 14th Annual Conference in Dallas

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — The American Society of Concrete Contractors held its 14th annual conference Sept. 24-27 at the Hyatt Regency—Dallas in Texas. Concrete contractors, manufacturers, designers and other industry professionals gathered for educational events and networking. Industry experts and leaders offered concrete seminars on important industry and educational topics. Speakers included Ken Hover, Jen Crisman, Colin Lobo and Crystal Washington.

Seminar topics included: Mock ACI Technical Committee Meeting, The Silicate Debate, Profiling for Filling Management Positions and Building and Protecting Your Online Reputation. Four workshops covered Safety Leadership Training, Sales, Improving the Contractor/Producer Relationship and Landing a Solid Workforce. A Hot Topic Panel of fiber manufacturers, facilitated by Mario Garza, Barton Malow, brought many questions about the products and performance to light. In addition to seminars and education, ACI flatwork finisher certification was offered.
