Eastern Lift Truck will carry the full line of commercial vehicles offered by Polaris, the first time a distributor will represent the complete range of products. The deal includes the Pro XD compact utility vehicle. The Polaris Pro XD was named a 2019 Top 100 New Product by Construction Equipment.
Eastern already represented Polaris’s Taylor-Dunn line, but the agreement expands Eastern Lift Truck’s territory in the Mid-Atlantic region as it creates a new commercial vehicle division to align with the expanded range of machines. Joe Cruz will head the division for Eastern Lift Truck as director.
“We are excited to bring the Polaris Pro XD and GEM vehicles to our customers and offer an expanded representation for Taylor-Dunn,” said president Dan Pruitt in a prepared statement. “Many of our customers are already familiar with the quality of Taylor-Dunn vehicles. We expect to introduce many new customers to the tough diesel and gas Polaris UTVs and efficient GEM electric cars.”
