Shannon Meder

Shannon Meder has joined HNTB’s Charleston, S.C., office as group director and vice president, focusing on transportation infrastructure projects. Prior to joining HNTB, Meder served in a variety of senior-level roles for another consulting firm.

“Shannon’s intimate knowledge of the infrastructure needs across South Carolina and the trust she has built in helping solve some of the region’s most complex infrastructure challenges will be integral to our clients as they move forward in delivering on a historic level of investment in the state’s transportation network,” said Spencer Franklin, Carolinas office leader and senior vice president for HNTB.

Robert Slack

Moss Construction has promoted Robert Slack to vice president, electrical, where he will provide operational oversight of the division. He has 37 years of experience in the electrical industry, with a specialty in power distribution and design and more than a decade of experience in the renewable energy-solar sector.
The company also promoted Jeremy Williams to the position of vice president for electrical field operations. He will oversee electrical self-perform activities for Moss’ nationwide solar business unit and will assist with design, estimates and constructibility reviews.

Erin Williams

Erin Williams has joined Brown and Caldwell in Atlanta as vice president and leader of its mid-South business, which focuses on water, wastewater and stormwater projects. Williams has more than 17 years of rehabilitation engineering design and supervising experience in public- and private-sector engineering and management roles. Her expertise encompasses separate and combined sewer collection system design, rehabilitation design utilizing trenchless technologies, stormwater management and condition assessment. She will oversee the firm’s Atlanta, Nashville, Memphis and Chattanooga, Tenn., offices.

Jenene Seymour

Charlotte-based Rodgers Builders has hired Jenene Seymour as director of diversity and community development. With over 20 years’ experience working in community engagement and philanthropy, Seymour will help drive the firm’s efforts to advance diversity, equity and inclusion at Rodgers, including sustained outreach with small, minority- and woman-owned and locally owned businesses.

Ron Colas

Ron Colas, formerly managing executive for WSP USA, has joined Jacobs’ South Florida office as vice president for transportation strategic growth and business development manager for Florida and the Caribbean. Colas has three decades of experience related to transportation infrastructure.

Vincent L. Mazzei was promoted to vice president for Kennesaw, Ga.-based design firm CROFT. The 34-year veteran engineer will oversee the firm’s engineering activities, operations, client relations and strategic planning.

Raleigh-based Clancy & Theys Construction Co. has named Fleming Herring as vice president of construction. In his new role, Fleming will focus on managing project execution and strengthening trade contractor relationships.

Stellar, Jacksonville, Fla., has hired Chase Sly as director of engineering for the contractor’s industrial solutions division. Before joining Stellar, Sly spent 10 years with RC&E Inc., a Texas-based design-build contractor.

LEO A DALY recently appointed Juli Edwards as director of business development in its West Palm Beach, Fla., design studio. Edwards has more than 35 years of experience, including 20 years in the architecture, engineering and construction industry. Prior to joining LEO A DALY, she was associate principal at PGAL.
